A LOOK BACK AT 2015

YOU ARE SIMPLY THE

It’s so good to be back with you and welcome to 2016! I hope your year has started well. Mine certainly has with lots of couples booking me to be their destination wedding photographer this year so expect lots of romantic wedding photography, full of natural light, coming your way very soon. In the meantime, I thought we could take a little look back at a few of the highlights of 2015 – the perfect remedy for any late January blues…

Let’s start right at the beginning – the engagement. I so love engagement photo shoots as they appeal to my romantic side and hearing how couples met and fell in love reminds me why I adore what I do. Being a wedding photographer is a huge privilege and engagement and pre-wedding shoots are where it all starts. As a London wedding photographer, it’s always such a treat to work with couples in the capital and so this engagement shoot in Holland Park was certainly a highlight of 2015 as it mixes love and laughter in equal amounts. As you might expect from a destination wedding photographer, I travelled far and wide for shoots and weddings in 2015. I packed my passport for this destination love shoot in Norway, this pre-wedding photography session in Santorini, Greece and also this romantic pre-wedding shoot in Apulia, Italy, among the olive trees. All of these couples’ shoots are full of natural light and show off my style of romantic wedding photography perfectly.

I loved being an Italian wedding photographer in 2015 with this beautiful wedding in Abruzzonot to mention these heavenly weddings in Santorini and Norway that I was also chosen to photograph. Weddings always fill me with inspiration, renewed passion for my career in photography and, above all, each and every wedding just makes me heart sing. There are no words that convey the joy that being part of a couple’s special day brings me. I have found my calling and I can’t imagine not being a wedding photographer!

When I’m not travelling as a destination wedding photographer or staying closer to home photographing weddings in London, I just love being involved with inspiration shoots. This year, it’s been simply wonderful to be part of some amazing shoots including this fantastic Alice in Wonderland inspiration shoot in London at the Mandarin Oriental (which you might have seen on the cover and inside the December 2015 issue Wedding Ideas magazine) and of course, this super romantic inspiration shoot at the wonderful Urbino Resort in the heavenly Marche region of Italy. This was a very special shoot for me as I myself was married here in 2015 so it’s true to say that 2015 was most certainly the year of love, romantic photography and global travels.

I was also so happy to forge some fabulous friendships with wedding professionals in the UK and overseas. The Female Creatives Association (previously the Female Photographer’s Association) has given me so much support and I’d like to thank them for everything.

Of course, it’s always a very special moment when you see your work featured in the very places that inspire you so seeing my wedding photography and inspiration photography featured on some of the very best wedding blogs in the world made 2015 even more unforgettable. Thank you to Rock My Wedding, Strictly Weddings, Burnett’s Boards, Bridal MusingsWedding Chicks , B.LOVED, Munaluchi Bridal, 5 Star Wedding Directory and Wedding Magazine Ideas for loving my romantic wedding photography and inspiration shoots and sharing them with your readers.

2015 was all kinds of brilliant! 2016 already looks spectacular as I’m going to photograph more weddings in London and overseas. I’m already excited about being a wedding photographer in Italy for a number of weddings in 2016 – my cameras and I can’t wait!

As a final little teaser, my wedding photography website will have a brand new look in the next couple of weeks. I’m working on lots of lovely improvements and developments that will make the new site the first port of call for the romantic bride who loves fine art photography that’s full of natural light. If you’d like to know as soon as it’s live, connect with me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram for the latest updates or sign up to my Newsletter right here!

I can’t wait for all that 2016 has to bring and I’m already excited to share it with you. In the meantime, my Wedding Portfolio is available here and you can read about all my wedding packages and services over here! If you’d like to chat about your wedding, get in touch – I can’t wait to hear all about your plans.

Enjoy a selection of my very favourite moments from this past 2015!
