THE CORINTHIA HOTEL LONDON – WEDDING INSPIRATION

As a London wedding photographer, I get to work at some fabulous venues with some wonderful suppliers creating unforgettable luxury weddings for the happiest couples. However, every now and again, I love to bring fabulous wedding professionals together to create styled shoots that really are something special. This shoot, which took place at The Corinthia Hotel, was simply spectacular and I’m thrilled to share it with you here.

I really love The Corinthia and their wedding planner Hannah is definitely one of the best in the business. She was so kind to the whole team and even allowed us access to The Royal Penthouse, which is literally unbelievable. With amazing views over the river Thames, it’s certainly the most luxurious hotel room I’ve even been in – perfect for the morning of a luxury wedding.

Anyway, let’s move on to the shoot and I have to talk about the amazing cakes and sweet treats from Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium that drew so many comments. That stacked cake with the pink sugar crystals and golden edging was a show-stopping piece and the soft, romantic mini cakes and cupcakes in pink and gold were just adorable. What London wedding photographer could resist?!

The beautiful flowers were styled by the incomparable Amie Bone Flowers and I adored the abundance and exuberance of Amie’s opulent designs. With ribbons and silk from Kate Cullen, linens from Love From Mwai and stationery from Eagle Eyed Bride, the tables were styled to perfection by Encharm’d and the stage was set for a splendid London wedding.

Of course, you simply can’t have a wedding without a gorgeous couple and our models couldn’t have been better. It was great taking them out onto the streets around The Corinthia as they were definitely mistaken for a real bride and groom and of course, we could use the unmistakable London streets as our backdrop. I just love working as a wedding photographer in London when there are iconic landmarks around every corner!

Our bride wore a luxe gown from Unielle Couture with an extravagantly ruffled skirt and eye-catching embellishments on the bodice. Her bridal ensemble was finished with accessories from Kelly Spence and wedding shoes from Louis Vuitton. Hair and make-up was by the very talented Team Glam and our bride looked utterly immaculate all day long. Our groom wore an Alexandra Wood suit and was every inch the dashing gent, with rings by Dimitri Nijs to give to his bride.

Styled shoots are such fun to work on and so much goes on during the day. We were so fortunate that Story Of Your Day were there to capture everything on video for us so if you’d like a sneak peek behind the scenes, do take a look at the film where you’ll see me working as a London wedding photographer. I do so love my job!

Thank you so much to everyone who was a part of this shoot and also a huge thank you to Rock My Wedding for featuring our work on their multi-award winning wedding blog. Do take a look at our Corinthia shoot on Rock My Wedding here.
