TUSCANY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – MONTELUCCI COUNTRY RESORT

This feature really is something special. The summer destination wedding in Tuscany that I’m about to share definitely makes my shortlist of all-time favourites. I absolutely love working as an Italian wedding photographer and being a wedding photographer in Tuscany is like Christmas come early! So, wherever you’re reading this and whatever you’re doing, stop for a moment and join me in Tuscany for an incredibly romantic wedding.

Sophie and Valentin are a Swiss/English couple who decided to marry at the beautiful Montelucci Country Resort in Tuscany. I was lucky enough to be invited to stay at the resort with the wedding party and we all got to know each other really well over a pizza night :) Being able to spend time at the villa before the wedding also gave me plenty of time to scout locations for photos, especially at sunset time…

Now let’s talk about the wedding because there’s so much to share and so much Italian beauty to enjoy.

Sophie and Valentin held their ceremony outdoors, overlooking the vineyards. Their celebrant, Jo Bertolino from the Tuscan Pledges conducted everything perfect and all the work put in by planner Hewelin from Marry Me In Tuscany definitely paid off. The ceremony was a joy and the couple were surrounded by their families and friends who’d travelled from Switzerland, the UK and the US to be with them. Everyone had so much fun and I really feel that that’s been captured in these images.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a typical Italian style aperitivo with lots of delicious food. The alfresco reception was absolutely my favourite thing and when the villa’s grounds were lit up at night, the atmosphere was so romantic. How absolutely perfect for a Tuscan wedding.

I loved the theme of this wedding and it was just heaven to be a Tuscany wedding photographer for this wonderful day. The rustic and organic style was typically Tuscan rustic and was complemented by a green, rose and peach colour palette. Sophie the bride absolutely adores green as you might have guessed if you’ve noticed her green engagement ring!

The floral decorations by Fioristi Sassoli – La Gardenia were simply beautiful. The garland that ran the length of the long dining table was dressed with flowers and candles in golden holders. Each guest received a little bottle of locally produced olive oil as a wedding favour and, as you might expect, dinner was a real treat.

The bride and groom’s portraits took place among the olive trees and in the vineyards at the venue. A more Italian backdrop you couldn’t hope to find! We were also incredibly lucky because one of the wedding guests allowed us to use his fabulous car – possibly the best photographic prop ever!

Sophie and Valentin’s wedding day ended as they danced, with their guests, under the stars in this heavenly corner of Tuscany.

It’s always a thrill to pack my bags and become an Italian wedding photographer. I will be back in Tuscany for weddings in May, June and August 2018 so if you’re getting married or if you’d like to celebrate your engagement with a brilliant photo-shoot, do get in touch.

As well as photographing weddings in Tuscany and right across Italy, I’m also very proud to be a wedding photographer in Greece and of course, I’m a London wedding photographer too. You’ll find more information here but please contact me if you’d like to know more. And to stay up-to-date with my work, you’ll also find me on Facebook, Twitter and of course on my favourite platform Instagram.

Love,
