WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN ITALY, INSPIRATION IN MARCHE

I’m so pleased you’re here for today’s feature because it’s more than a little bit special. I’m thrilled to share the third, and sadly the final, installment of ‘Italian Spring’, my wedding inspiration shoot in the glorious Marche region of Italy. If you loved part one and part two then I think you’re going to adore this…

As you’re probably already gathered, I think Italy’s Marche region is a jewel, a hidden gem, that’s full of delight. This part of the shoot rather sums up all that’s amazing about this area for me as you’re going to be treated to stunning, natural scenery and a sumptuous, rustic feast. The ideal ingredients for your Italian destination wedding!

Our gorgeous bride has already explored part of the wonderful Urbino Resort as she wandered through the grounds and gardens in this shoot’s second feature, and now she heads out onto the gently rippling waters of the resort’s private lake making her way to the feast beyond.

After the softly romantic Marianna Lanzilli gown she wore in our previous features, our bride has radically altered her look and is now wearing a bridal crop top and lace hot pants, also by Marianna Lanzilli as she sets sail. This is a truly spectacular outfit that is, as Marianna says, for “that one in a million bride who dares to be different.”

I think that it would be perfect for a destination weddingimagine wearing this for your reception in more tropical climes or changing to dance the night away under the stars in these fantastic bridal separates? I love it! Her light, natural make-up by Mirko Mazz is also perfect for a destination wedding.

The flowers in the boat are elegant and luxurious but still absolutely natural. Those big, exuberant peonies and eye-catching anemones combine wonderfully with the natural greenery. ISA Events created all the flowers for this shoot and I couldn’t have been happier with the organic designs and beautiful blooms.

Outside on the verandah at Urbino dei Laghi, the superb restaurant at Urbino Resort, rustic platters full of delicious appetisers – vegetables from the farm, Italian cheeses and prosciutto, welcome our bride. Everything is locally produced and this gives a real sense of place to the event – when you’ve got such great ingredients on your doorstep, it’s definitely best to use them and regional delicacies are, in my view, essential for destination weddings.

Moving into the light, bright restaurant for sweet treats and desserts, our bride’s journey has finally come to an end. The tables are exquisitely decorated with muscari, lisianthus, roses and alstroemeria (again from ISA Events) and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of this delightful restaurant gives our beautiful bride the chance to relax and enjoy the macarons, pates de fruit, beignets, tartelette as well as the spectacular wedding cake, all prepared by the team at the fabulous Urbino Resort.

So, our Italian Spring has come to an end. I hope you’ve enjoyed and that that it’s whetted your appetite for a destination wedding in Italy. If it has, you’ll definitely want to read an upcoming feature here on the blog all about planning a wedding in Italy. Check back soon!
