A LOOK BACK AT 2017

Before 2018 gets even busier with plenty of intimate and romantic weddings, I wanted to take a little look back at my personal highlights from 2017.

Last year was just amazing.

I worked as a Destination Wedding Photographer across Europe and as a London Wedding Photographer too, not to mention being involved with lots of fabulous shoots and working as the official Event Photographer for BRIDES magazine.

I’m so grateful to my clients for a wonderful, busy wedding season.

Here are just a few of the most memorable moments from 2017.

WEDDINGS

I travelled to Ireland for a Destination Wedding at the Shelbourne Hotel, to St Lucia for a Destination Wedding at Villa Susanna and to Portugal for an Irish Destination Wedding in the Algarve with the incredible By Bruce Russell.

I journeyed to Italy on countless occasions working as an Italian Wedding Photographer in Tuscany , Le Marche and on the Amalfi Coast and I also flew to Santorini twice, where the views were, as always, spectacular (just take a look here!). I really do appreciate the trust that all my couples place in me.

So, what weddings really stand out for me? Well, an intimate wedding of just 20 guests in a luxury villa overlooking the ocean in St Lucia just has to get a mention. This was such a dream to photograph and I’ll be blogging the full wedding soon. Watch this space!

It was a huge honour to be part of a wedding weekend at the extraordinary Cliveden House, organised by luxury wedding and event planner Cranberry Blue. Think a bride in both Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta gowns, bespoke diamond jewellery delivered to the bride with an armed guard, circus acts, 11 piece showbands, suspended floral canopies and a luxurious and romantic ceremony. You can see why this is a wedding I’ll never forget!

Obviously, working with fantastic couples as a Wedding Photographer in Italy just has to make my highlights too.

An Australian wedding on the Amalfi Coast at Conca del Sogno also featured on Vogue Australia and I also adored this Swiss Destination Wedding in Tuscany at Montelucci Country Resort. I was also on hand to capture a Korean/American wedding at Borgo Corsignano in Tuscany planned by The Tuscan Wedding and the traditional Korean ceremony was truly special, an experience I will never forget (soon on the blog too!).

Not to forget some luxury and stylish London weddings. I was so happy to work as a Wedding Photographer at the Savoy, at the St Pancras Hotel, at Micklefield Hall with the super lovely Love Lydia and at the exclusive Spencer House.

ENGAGEMENTS

Engagement shoots are quite often the start of my relationship with my couples and they are a great opportunity for us all to get to know each other AND to capture some amazing images.

There were so many loved-filled shoots last year but I have to mention this adorable and romantic engagement in Santorini and this Santorini couple session with balloons also recently featured on one of my favourite blogs, 100 Layer Cake.

Can’t you just feel the love?!

I’ve also photographed several engagements shoots in London, which I will share on the blog in next few weeks.

EDITORIALS

I also love being part of creative and luxury editorial shoots.

A luxury wedding shoot at Hengrave Hall has been widely featured on WedLuxe, Wedding Chicks, Strictly Weddings, MOD Wedding and in You & Your Wedding Magazine.

Another favourite has to be this midsummer circus, unicorn inspired shoot that you might have seen on 6 pages in BRIDES Magazine and on Wedding Chicks.

There’s also a Moroccan wedding shoot, complete with camels, coming soon to the blog!!

EVENTS

I’ve been working as a Wedding Photographer for some time and in case you didn’t know,  I’m also an Event Photographer in London.

As the official Event Photographer for BRIDES Magazine, I’ve captured images for them at some iconic venues including The Lanesborough, The BerkeleyThe Savoy, Kensington Roof Gardens and the Mandarin Oriental and Corinthia hotels to name but a few. This year I was also honoured to be their official photographer for BRIDES The Show too.

I’m now looking forward to a fully booked 2018 season where I’ll be travelling all around Italy, Greece and the South of France as a Destination Wedding Photographer . You will of course find me in London too, where I’m based, working as a London Wedding Photographer in my favourite city.

Make sure you’re following me on Facebook and Instagram for all the latest updates and travel dates and don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like to talk about your wedding plans (few dates left for 2018, now booking 2019)!

See you next week.

With love,

Roberta x
